Friday, May 4, 2012: Saturn’s moon Dione appears to possess an area of wispy terrain at the lower left of this Cassini image. Actually, fractures on the trailing hemisphere of Dione cause the wispy appearance. The image was taken on Dec. 20, 2010, at a distance of approximately 67,000 miles (107,000 kilometers) from Dione. North is up.

The band of the Milky Way is seen above the southern coast of Sweden. Stars of the Summer Triangle are photographed over this seaside known as Sandhammaren beach in Scania. The light dome of nearby town Ystad is visible on the right (west) while it’s dark toward the Baltic Sea (south).

Light from Alien Super-Earth Seen for 1st Time
Light from an alien “super-Earth” twice the size of our own Earth has been detected by a NASA space telescope for the first time in what astronomers are calling a historic achievement.
NASA’s infrared Spitzer Space Telescope spotted light from the alien planet 55 Cancri e, which orbits a star 41 light-years from Earth. A day on the extrasolar planet lasts just 18 hours.
The planet 55 Cancri e was first discovered in 2004 and is not a habitable world. Instead, it is known as a super-Earth because of its size: The world is about twice the width of Earth and is super-dense, with about eight times the mass of Earth.
But until now, scientists have never managed to detect the infrared light from the super-Earth world.

He
He became my light at then end of the darkest tunnel of depression and hatred. Stuck in the cold for so long, under others toes, in no ones heart, he helped me see the light, I never thought were real. He helped me see myself. He helped me gain strength to stand up and dig my way out of my rut I had been buried in for so long. He made me believe in myself and see the beauty he knew to be there. He became my world and then ran away from me.
